Breast augmentation is a surgery that places silicone gel implants in the dual plane or beneath the fascia to create the volume and shape of the breasts. The breast tissue and chest wall are analyzed with 3D imaging and breast ultrasound to decide the incision site, where to place the implant, and the type of implant, and the surgery is performed while viewing through an endoscope. At ETONNE in Gangnam, Seoul (Gangnam-daero, Nonhyeon Station), the surgery is performed by board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Cho Jeongmok.

Motiva
ETONNE's Motiva has a gel that changes shape fluidly with gravity. When you lie down, the gel spreads out in a round shape, and when you stand it turns into a teardrop shape, so it looks like your own breast in daily life and during exercise as well. Its texture is close to human tissue, and its high fill ratio makes it less prone to wrinkling, so it is recommended for those with thin skin and a slim build, and its low risk of capsular contracture makes it suitable for revision surgery.
The tensile strength of the outer shell is uniform and strong in every area, so there is little concern about implant rupture, and the implant can be inserted through a minimal incision.
The patented BluSeal® technology, which meets the strict quality and safety standards of ASTM and ISO, makes it possible to check the safety of the implant and lowers the likelihood of capsular contracture.

Mentor MemoryGel Xtra
ETONNE's Mentor MemoryGel Xtra, unlike Mentor Smooth Classic, offers fuller volume at the same breast width, making it ideal for Koreans with a narrow chest circumference. It feels soft at the sides yet does not lose height, so the shape is well maintained, and full filling fills the breast beautifully. Its thin yet strong shell is designed to reduce the likelihood of leakage and rupture of the inner silicone gel.
Both the silicone inside the implant and the outer shell that comes into direct contact with the skin have been approved for safety by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
It is made with precision filling technology to reduce rippling while keeping a soft feel. Various implant sizes are available for each individual's fit and desired volume, and the amount of silicone gel was adjusted accurately and precisely at the manufacturing stage.
The dimpling that sinks in at the central upper part of the implant has been reduced, and both ends are finished with a rounded fall to minimize the foreign body sensation felt at the sides of the implant.

Mentor MemoryGel BOOST
Johnson & Johnson's Mentor MemoryGel BOOST is a premium implant that delivers an elastic, natural feel, with excellent shape retention and safety.
The refined circular "Secret Edge" design makes rippling, where the surface of the implant shows through or can be felt, less likely. It is produced in a range of size options so that the optimal volume can be achieved for each individual.
The multi-layered outer shell, certified by the FDA and the Korean MFDS, is designed to reduce the likelihood of gel leakage and rupture.
A durable 1:1 ratio crosslinker gel improves elasticity and resilience compared with existing Mentor implants. The shape is maintained for a long time along with natural movement, and the touch is soft and reassuring as well.
The Maximum Projection Point (MPP) of the implant sits in the upper part, so volume begins from above, naturally filling the upper breast and creating a firm breast contour overall.

SYSTEM
Swelling and bruising may occur after surgery, and how long they take to subside varies from person to person. A scar remains at the incision site, and in rare cases bleeding, infection, inflammation, or left–right asymmetry may occur, which may require additional treatment. Hematoma or seroma (a collection of blood or fluid around the implant), changes in sensation of the nipples and breast skin, and rippling, in which folds of the implant can be felt or seen through the skin, may occur. If capsular contracture, in which the capsule surrounding the implant thickens and contracts so that the breast becomes firm, or rupture or displacement of the implant occurs, surgery to replace or remove the implant may be needed. To check the condition of the implants, please have regular ultrasound examinations even after surgery. Please tell us at your pre-surgery consultation about any medications you take, including blood thinners such as anticoagulants, as well as any medical conditions and whether you smoke. During recovery, please avoid alcohol and smoking and attend follow-up visits as scheduled. Please make your decision after you have been fully informed of the risks and of alternative options. Results and recovery vary from person to person.
ETONNE uses silicone gel implants, Motiva, Mentor MemoryGel Xtra, and Mentor MemoryGel BOOST. Because each implant differs in shape, feel, and volume, the choice is made after examining the amount of mammary gland tissue, the thickness of the skin, and the shape of the chest wall together with the breast image you have in mind.
Your height and weight, your current breast size and chest wall shape, and the amount and elasticity of the skin are analyzed with 3D imaging and breast ultrasound, and the size is decided after we also hear about the breast image you have in mind. An implant that is too large for your build can look unnatural or lead to problems such as changes in the position or shape of the implant, so we recommend a size that suits your body.
A scar remains where the incision is made to insert the implant. The incision is made in the armpit or along the crease beneath the breast, and the location is decided at your consultation, taking into account the implant size, the shape of the breasts, and your preference for the scar location. How the scar settles varies depending on your skin condition, so scar laser care is provided according to your progress after surgery.
If there are no problems, the implants may continue to be used without being replaced. However, if problems such as capsular contracture or rupture develop over time, replacement or removal may become necessary. At ETONNE, an ultrasound examination is performed at every follow-up visit after surgery, and we advise an ultrasound examination every year after that. Manufacturer warranty programs have different conditions for each product.
The surgery takes about 60 minutes under general anesthesia, and you go home the same day without hospitalization. There is no separate stitch removal, return to work is possible after about 2–3 days, and about six follow-up visits are needed after surgery, with an ultrasound examination at every visit and Healite II, high-frequency, LDM ultrasound, and scar laser care depending on the stage of recovery. How long swelling and bruising take to subside varies from person to person.
