ETONNE breast surgery.
ETONNE PLASTIC SURGERY
Breast reduction
Also called Reduction Mammoplasty
Breast reduction is a surgery that reduces the mammary gland tissue, fat, and loose skin of large, heavy breasts to reduce their size and weight and refine their shape. The amount to reduce is decided by considering both the everyday discomfort caused by breast size, such as a constricted feeling or skin conditions under the breasts, and the balance of your body. At ETONNE in Gangnam, Seoul (Gangnam-daero, Nonhyeon Station), the surgery is performed by board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Cho Jeongmok.
Comfortable breasts that put health first.
ETONNE goes beyond restoring the beautiful shape and size of the breasts;
we also consider a balance that suits your body as well as the improvement of health problems.
Comfortable Breasts
We find the most ideal breast proportions for each individual and, going beyond cosmetic improvement,
perform the surgical method that matches the result you want so that daily life is easier and more comfortable.
Finding curves that suit your body, we reduce the breasts attractively while creating breasts that feel psychologically settled.
Balanced and Beautiful Breasts.
If your breasts have been heavy enough to look sagging and stifling, if a skin condition under the breasts causes discomfort,

Precautions
Swelling and bruising may occur after surgery, and how long they take to subside varies from person to person. A scar remains at the incision site, and in rare cases bleeding, infection, inflammation, or left–right asymmetry may occur, which may require additional treatment. Because this surgery reduces mammary gland tissue and skin, the sensation of the nipples, areolae, and breast skin may become reduced or change, and breastfeeding may become difficult after surgery. In rare cases, blood circulation to the nipple and areola may be impaired or the wound may open and delay recovery, and fat necrosis, in which part of the fatty tissue becomes a firm lump, may occur. If you have plans for childbirth or breastfeeding, please tell us at your consultation. Please tell us at your pre-surgery consultation about any medications you take, including blood thinners such as anticoagulants, as well as any medical conditions and whether you smoke. During recovery, please avoid alcohol and smoking and attend follow-up visits as scheduled. Please make your decision after you have been fully informed of the risks and of alternative options. Results and recovery vary from person to person.
Who It's For
When the breasts are large enough to feel heavy and constricting
When large breasts look as if they are sagging
When the skin under the breasts becomes chafed or a skin condition develops and causes discomfort
When the size of the breasts interferes with daily life
It is considered when the size of the breasts makes daily life uncomfortable, such as when the breasts feel heavy and constricting, large breasts look as if they are sagging, or the skin under the breasts becomes chafed or a skin condition develops. At ETONNE, we look at breast proportions that suit your body together with the result you want, and decide how much to reduce and the surgical method.
Does the surgery affect sensation or breastfeeding?
Because this surgery reduces mammary gland tissue and skin, the sensation of the nipples and areolae may change, or breastfeeding may become difficult after surgery. The extent of the effect differs with the amount reduced and the surgical method, so if you have plans for childbirth or breastfeeding, please tell us at your consultation and we will reflect this in your surgical plan.
Where will the scars be?
Because the skin is incised to reduce the breast tissue, scars remain at the incision sites. The incision is chosen from among a periareolar incision (around the areola), a vertical incision, and an inverted-T incision, and because this differs with the amount reduced and the degree of sagging, it is explained after an examination. How the scars settle varies depending on your skin condition, so scar laser care is provided according to your progress after surgery.
What are the anesthesia, surgery time, and recovery schedule?
The surgery takes about 3–6 hours under general anesthesia, and you go home the same day without hospitalization. There is no separate stitch removal, daily activities are possible from about 3 days after surgery, and about six follow-up visits are needed after surgery, with an ultrasound examination at every visit and Healite II, high-frequency, LDM ultrasound, and scar laser care depending on the stage of recovery. How long swelling and bruising take to subside varies from person to person.
